The Gerber Dredge Folding Shovel is a hard-use, heavy duty,  full size folding shovel / entrenching tool.  Whether it’s fire pit maintenance, digging trenches for rainwater or removing stones from a tent pad, the Dredge folding shovel is an essential tool for your campsite chores or vehicle recovery kit. Fold it into the hoe position for pulling material out from the underside of a stuck vehicle or away from the tires.

The large shovel head is made from tan powder-coated high-carbon steel and comes with flat areas that allow you to use your feet to push the blade deeper. The collapsible handle is made from glass-filled nylon with a rubber overmold grip for extra purchase. The design and materials of the Dredge combine to make it lightweight despite its size and able to travel the outdoors with you.
